What is Physie?
Physie combines elements of ballet, jazz, contemporary, pilates and even hip-hop. It is a unique Australian dance sport which is inexpensive, local, community based, and lots of fun! Physie improves strength, flexibility, fitness, control, posture, co-ordination, and balance. It also develops life skills of confidence, self-discipline, concentration and sportsmanship.
Each year our students represent North Sydney Physie by participating in a number of competitions run by the Australian Physie and Dance Association. These competitions are optional, and there are a range of different kinds which students can enter, depending on their experience and enthusiasm.
